Klein Genot
Cradled by the Franschhoek and Stoney Brook rivers and situated under the watchful gaze of the majestic Franschhoek mountains, time stands still at Klein Genot. Good Food, thoughtful service and spa treatments are part of this sensory experience. The luxury lies in the detail of each individual decorated suite with original art works, Persian carpets, fire places, under floor heating, air conditioner, TV's, surround sound, CD and DVD players and library.
Our "Genot Restaurant" menu specializes in fresh sea food, grilled steaks, venison, chicken, pastas and salads. Our wine list features local Franschhoek wines and well as an extended selection from other wine regions. Genot also offers picnic baskets - advance bookings are essential as we only 20 picnic spots along the shaded Franschhoek river bank. Live Jazz music on Friday and Saturday evenings from 20h000 to 24h00. We also have a menu with a selection of cigars, cognacs, brandies, whiskeys, cocktails and liqueurs. We top all of this with a decadent dessert trolley.
We also offer wedding and corporate facilities. Our new Cellar offers wine tastings every day from 10h00 to 15h00. Our fist vintage year was 2005 and we currently have 7 wines. A Merlot, Shiraz, Caub/Sauv, a Bend called Black Swan, Rose, Sauv/Blanc and a Chardonnay.
