Animal Welfare Christmas Market

Date Published: 10 Nov 2008

This is the second year that a group of like minded artists have got together to hold a Christmas market in the beautiful artists’ barn at Artemis, home of painter Andre Desmond-Smith and metal worker Kobus Stander in Franschhoek. The market takes place from 28 - 30 November 2008.

The group consisting of potters, photographers, wood workers, chefs, jewelry makers are mainly from the valley, but well known fabric painter Kali from Wolvengat, wand a group of very talented ladies from the Kylemore with beaded Christmas decorations and other Christmas inspired goods like table lined will also be there, also some beautiful hand made glass and a few treasures from Kenya.

We well have a coffee shop available for light snacks and lunches. Why not make a day of it and visit some of the stunning wine farms and shops in the wonderful Franschhoek after doing your shopping at the Artemis Chris Market.

Cash or cheques would be preferred.

10% of takings are donated to SPCA and Stellenbosch Animal Welfare
